Jumping back a bit to our Lecavalier/TO convo. This might have actually had legs,as the NHL moved to close that loophole on Monday.

I can't really blame him. It was like "The Passion of the Steinley" on here for about 20 pages.

I have no idea what the fee would be, but back in the day Toronto charged a 5th for 1mil of Kolzig. Would have to think it would've be a 1st+ or even a decent player.

I take a look around and see if it makes sense and if sources are credible.

Not a dog pulls two hockey cards from underneath my bed, so I go onto hockeybuzz and write a blog that those two players are going to be dealt for each other.

@TSNBobMcKenzie: I am led to believe EDM will NOT buy out Horcoff but Belanger and Eager are buyout considerations for the Oilers.

@TSNBobMcKenzie: EDM not buying out Horcoff would suggest they may be able to include him in a trade to a team that would then possibly buy him out.
