It seems like he's going to be moved. But that being said, he's not petulant, he's old school: if he doesn't get mvoed by next year he'll shut up and play imo.

I just don't beleive it's going to happen. I think some smart capologist and CBA junkie figured out a way to keep VL at a lower cap hit and floated the rumour. Toronto is an easy target since they have so much dough. Did it come from a good source?
Not to mention,what the price in trade be? A first rounder, a prospect and a roster player. TO would charge way more than VL's worth simply because they can.

So I wonder- are we offer sheeting AP??? Or can we trade for JBo or Phaneuf?? I would not mind 1 of the 3 - it would be a step fwd IMO... I would even entertain trading my beloved Eberle if we draft that Nisch... kid - for a top dman... but (frank) that would be a tough pill to swallow...

Well, Horc is a smart guy.He knows that interest in him is low if he can't get traded. It would be a smart public and professional perception move for him to hand over the C at a presser and go out and play a solid season in a supporting role.

Well thats what I mean. If the desired result in VL at 3 or 4 Million a year , what is that really worth?

I would say it's it's still worth less that what TO should be charging.

What's your take on the whole center situation? MacT gives Gagner a vote of confidence in more then one way, but really wants a center at #7. I have no issue with center depth, but just seems like he isn't fully behind the two current guys.

That and Arcobello gets a lot of praise.
