What would you think the Devils would have to give up to move from 9 to 7? I think its an interesting possibility. At 9 one of Nurse or Ristolainen would most likely be available or even someone like Shinkaruk.

Yeah I think MacT is actually trying to help Horcoff. I'd bet Horcoff has some pretty high profile teams on his list though (DET, VAN) which would make it next to impossible to trade.

The think I like about Bob Mac's list is its a consensus of only ten scouts but it also has below it the rankings of the various other sources (ISS, CSS, McKeen, THN, CB). Having watched only a handful of Nurse and Ristolainen and a few highlights I really couldn't say who is better. Not sure how Clout can either.
The thing that REALLY puzzles me is how Nurse is very consistently ranked by all at 5-8. Whereas Ristolainen is anywhere from 8- 25. One wonders why the disparity in Risto's ranking. I'd take either.

If I were MacT I would say he is the Lennart Petrell of blogging.

Being the pessa mist that I am, I think Oilers fans including myself will be dissapointed by the lack of trades and aquisitions that MacT makes. Not because he isn't going to try, but because you can't get something for nothing.

Bad press for the Nucks? Getting the nightmare of the goalie controversy over by any means will be good for them...

And if they get someone to take him on waivers they'd be happier than buying him out. I have a hard time seeing anyone taking him on waivers even though....
