nicklas backstrom that was drafted 4th overall in 2006. This is supposed to be the deepest draft in a decade. Corey Pronman from hockey propsectus said he'd be ranked 4th last year.

His PPG and 2 way play are better than Backstrom's in his draft year

So if Galchenyuk went 3rd in last years weak draft, then it would be smart for Montreal to trade him for a 5-7th pick because that player will be better, you know cause this is the best draft ever and there are going to be 10 franchise players available...
