This is actually one of the best ideas for a lineup that I've seen so far. Maybe sign Stalberg on the side if theres enough cap (I didn't have time to check) and that is a really solid lineup. Might take a little more to pry out Hartnell, but with the flyers, you never know. Kinda late to the party, had to sign up to comment.

Speaking of eggs, I have recently discovered that for a cheap, lean, easy source of protein, one can drink pasteurized liquid egg whites right out of the carton. Personally i would try to sign clowe before trading for hartnell, but i wouldn't mind either. And im just not a fan of Lapierre, Maybe Gaustad coud be had for a prospect or a pick. Bring back Jonesy!!! we need the flow. I think those lines would be a huge upgrade on our current roster. Make a fourth line of Jones/Gaustad/Stalberg would be skill full as well with Smyth and Brown as the extras

I have only ever used city transit once in my life. I will have to check this out lahey, could be interesting.

All this and Eager doesn't have to fight - Brown can help out more in that regard. Though I'm all for more then one guy who can throw down at the right time, Eager won't have to feel like the only one to do it.

As for Clowe, I think he is worth the price tag but a few injuries this past season scare me a bit. Another player the oil should target is Chris Stewart, He will be expensive RFA but those are the types of players the oiler need.

jones tries hard, but he's his skill level is low. watching him last year, im almost shocked that he was able to get 18 goals 2 years back.

glencross is a WAYY stronger skater, he`s got a far better shot, and is at least as physical. glencross can ostensibly play on the first line adequately. anyone of the 4 lines with success really. the same cannot be said of jones.
love to have glenx on this team. and he`s signed at a very reasonable rate.

im not hatin though. jones has some character and works hard. under the right circumstances and depending on the dollars, id certainly consider resigning him.

im also definitely interested in clowe.
and with Berglund agreeing to that cheaper 1 year contract and depending on the other 2 rfa`s, im sure they'll be able to afford to keep stewart
