Take Coots out, and I'm game. But if you take him out, they don't trade.

Republicans and Democrats are the same to me. It's about expanding power of the gov't for them.

Laughton is so far down the road. Schenn and Coots still have 4 or 5 years until UFA. Voracek is already signed at a nice contract. Also factor in the rise of the cap which will occur.

The way I build a team is like this. Get a #1 Center (Giroux). Get a #1 Dman (Weber). Get a #1 Goalie (Who are we kidding, all goalies suck!).

I'd rather be on green grass with a MONSTER of a dman in Weber then two kids with a bunch of potential.

Its nice to have a nice base, but you still need surrounding players. Teams have won the Stanley Cup without some of those things. Trading away lots of young talent and picks forces a team to acquire talent via free agency (overpaying).

So everyone said Coots shut down Malkin in the playoffs.
After watching Malkin in the playoffs this year. I think it's safe to say Malkin shuts himself down.

I doubt they'd even really consider him at #11 but can't completely rule it out now.

First, I appreciate you trying to put this list together, it takes some tough skin to do so. Now, I agree with the other things posted and Brent Burns is a staple for SJS and I would be extremely surprised if he was bought out. I would also like to see the flyers pick him up immediately if it happens. I don't see cap floor teams buying out anyone, they don't have cash and that is their problem. So Wisz and Campbell stay put. I could be wrong but I don't think it will be too crazy.

I just looked at the long term contract and made a quick decision on whether or not he could be living up. I didn't take in consideration of the cap floor and the fact that Florida has issues staying above it every year. I could very be wrong about all of those names.

@ToddCordell Darren Dreger said Ray Emery is definitely a possibility for the #Flyers. Said they believe in Mason but want someone to go with him.

Weber is great but he can only be on the ice for 25-30 minutes. Giroux for 20-25 minutes. Every team that has won the cup, has had depth. The Flyers best team of the last decade was the deepest. They had a bad goalie and didn't have a superstar Center. They had 4 good centers. Briere, Giroux, Carter, Richards

Because the Pronger trade set this team back. Having Sbisa and those two draft picks would easily help fill out the roster.
