I just shead a tear for you.

I'm 6'0" brown hair with a small bald spot and very over-weight... I know, I know.

And yet my wife looks like Reice Witherspoon.

No, I don't believe in Reimer and neither do the Leafs. No need to send them a center for him.
- mayorofangrytown

We believe in everything about Reimer but his glove hand.

And maybe five hole: low.

Other than that...

But seriously, smoking hot wife.

An absolute scorcher.

He's basically saying it was a business decision. Shrinking cap and long term contract issues.

Basically, his play had nothing to do with the decisions. It was a business decision they made today. The team has not played up to their potential and that is an issue. The cap rolling back is a reason. Didnt wanna answer if his personality had anything to do with. Wont mention names as replacements, but has a lot of ideas running around in his head.

Summary please

Pretty much saying this was a move to help secure giroux long term. Strictly business.
Cap went down, pretty much back to where they were, things change the cba was different when they signed him before.

He's not in the locker room, so he can't comment on the locker room issues, but clearly on ice things were not making things easier.

CAn't commnent on any other players right now, but he can't afford to not look at every option available.

Mason looks to be good to work with, liked him from way back, things getting stuck in the mud in columbus hurt his progression. thinks he has what it takes, and looking for a compliment for mason next year.

They want to add to forward mix up front. not sure what is available until time comes. Thinks it will be a wild couple days leading up to july 5th.

Q:Why havent we been able to land a true goalie since Hextall?
A: Not sure how to answer, only real goalie to be good like that league wide has been Marty Brodeur (mistakenly says Biron).

On Mason: For a young guy has a ton of experience, gotta glimpse of him as a Flyer, played very well.. spectacular. Liked him in the past former Calder winner, stuck in the mud in CBJ, like his potential as a "top goalie in league"... looking for a counterpart to Mason.

Other needs: Ideally would like to get some forwards, dont know what available... Its gonna be a wild 10 days.

Draft: Will keep first round pick, "maybe higher than that"

That's smart of Homer, not throwing Bryz under any sort of bus.

After listening to Homer, I think it is safe to say that this will be a very interesting next couple of weeks. I think I also heard him let slip that maybe the Flyers will be trying to move up in the draft....he kind of said it in passing.

Almost came off as if he wants to trade down. "We believe there are several guys who will be around at the 11th pick that we really like"

I really hope he keeps his word on this.

The Flyers don't have the organizational depth to dork around with their draft picks. Make good picks. Develop drafted players. Rinse. Repeat.

Sounds like the plan is in place.
