The wild thing.

Im 26 years old, I have seen them reach the finals twice (winning only 2 games combined) and continually make rash decisions. Lugo would be a HUGE mistake. Be patient.

I'm with you. There are several FA or unhappy goalies. Wait this out a little and see what happens.

I don't know, but this kind of huge deal and then getting rid of the guy two years later is the kind of thing that would get managers fired in any other line of business.

I like Homer but think he is on very thin ice at this point.

- Marc D

Bryz wasn't Homer... It was Snider. Cant fire him.

What's a respectable deal for Lu on the open market? Or another way, how much would you offer for his services?

we'll see what happens. i have to believe there's a solid "plan" in place.
- hammarby31

I'd literally be screaming like a 10 year old girl at a Justin Bieber concert if they brought in Halak.

I would give him 5 years at 5 million.

I wouldn't offer him a ton. I'd offer him around $4.5-$5mm for 3 or 4 years. He says no, I sign another guy or trade for Halak or whomever....I'm not married to Luongo...I like him a lot, but he's not my holy grail
- Jsaquella

Understood and respected.... But if a 36 year old streit gets 4 years over 35 for $21 million... I have no doubt that a 34 year old under 35 luongo gets 5 for $30 million. I think lu is a great fit for a run and gun team like Philly. Would hate to miss out cause we don't want to pay him $5.333 aav per year. Seems stingy.

No, I don't believe in Reimer and neither do the Leafs. No need to send them a center for him.

I mean, Reimer posted solid numbers last season. I don't think I'd be that against it.

Tomorrow Ek is going to e4 Miller and Vanek to Philly.

I agree, but only go after him if he is bought out. Otherwise we are right back in the same boat, but without a life jacket this time.

Would other teams outside of the Flyers, Habs and Leafs like to inform one of their high priced players that they're out.

Danny Briere
Ilya Bryzgalov
Thomas Kaberle
Mike Komisarek

Robert Luongo in my opinion is still a big maybe.

I liked your input on the roundtable, sir. You going to be doing this somewhat often?
- BulliesPhan87

I just read that.
I was kind of surprised that several on the panel thought the Flyers biggest need was a #1 winger to play with Giroux.

There's no way in Hell I'd trade for Luongo's deal. If he's bought out, I'm all over it. But no trades.
- Jsaquella

I would do it if they retain half the cap hit over the life of the contract. If we're assuming the whole thing? They better be taking Pronger's deal, Mez, and some scrap off our hands, and sending us multiple cheap assets along with Lu.
