IMO Miller's reputation nationally still has decent value. i think he is viewed as an unquestioned starter who plays for a bad team.

i bet there are several GM's who think "that guy would be waaaay better on my team".

I will admit some Sabre fans overvalue Miller. but the team in front of him, has had a lot to do with his place teh last 2 years. Some of teh worst in puck possesion. I am not high on Miller as some. But at times this year he singlehandedly won games for this team. I felt bad for Miller at times.

There were countless times where the Sabres were stucm in their owne zone at even strength for 2+ minutes. Not to metion the countless 2on1 3on1 2on0.

Myers' contract is infinitely worse than any contract Sather has dished out and he's done nothing but regress since his Calder Trophy year. Letang is a legit Norris Trophy caliber defenseman. I'm not over or under valuing anyone.

And by the way, the Rangers are infinitely better than the Sabres. They stopped listening to Torts in February and still won a playoff series. What's your team doing?
