Buffalo isn't as bad as a team like Calgary. Who says if you give him the C this yr, and they are in a playoff position by deadline, he wouldn't re-sign?
I'd trade Miller for a 1st rder (even if lower), buyout Leino, and sign Iginla to play with him and Hodgson. Make a push at Ribeiro. Enroth can be a starter.

Rumors should always be taken with a grain of salt. Miller seems to clearly not want to be there. Never got the impression with Vanek.
