They are allowing 2 complaiance buyouts that dont count against the cap. Buyouts can still happen.

Thing is with Lou, a penalty is going to be inposed due to the front loaded contract if bought out down the road.

The only reason why Miller is getting a bad rep in any scenario is because he makes 6.25M.



You take any goalie in the NHL and sign them all to the same contract.. a 3 year/4M per season deal.

Most of the problems that people have with Miller would disappear.

The way I look at it....

Only.. Boston, Chicago, Detroit, LA, Montreal, NSH, NYR, OTT, SJ, and STL have stable goalies or put the same kinds of numbers up year to year. You know exactly what you are going to get out of those team's goalies. The same kinds of goalies that aren't living off of one or a half fluke year to their current value to a fan.

if your goalie is fluxuating.. I feel bad for you son.. got 99 problems and consistency is one!
