first off bozak sucks

a guy getting the ice time and linemates he has should be producing one hell of a lot more

secondly.. stastny isnt declining.. he is being used in a role that the youngers guys are as capable of.. he isnt in a top line role not because of his inability to produce, but because the other two's inability to play dependable defense

also.. 65 points is pretty damn good man only 33 guys league wide were on that pace.. also..65 would be the low end for stats.. thats just the truth.

anyways i get it.. you guys cant look past the G A P columns so yes.. to you, a third liner making as much as stastny would be overpaid

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but you don't seem to be able to wrap your head around the fact that Kessel and Lupul are pretty much maxed out and that no matter who they add, even if it was Datsyk or Spezza, they arent' going to score that much more. Therefore, since first line scoring isnt a problem, why give up a ton just for something that is basically to placate the dumber portions of the fan base? Bozak can replicate everything Stastny brings except scoring, which they don't need. I don't know why I bother, saying "Bozak sucks" kind of makes it boring to argue with you. A much smarter move is to move out Grabovski, resign Bozak and aquire someone like Patrick Bergland who fits the age group and can play on either of the first three lines.

bozak wants close to five mill a year or maybe more. so you'd rather have the next Matt stajan for years to come who has a ceiling of 45-50 points a year instead of getting a bonifide top centerman

EXACTLY. This annoyed the poop out of me. Everyone was dumping on him and wanting to move him. He was put in a position where it would almost be impossible for him to succeed and build off his past couple years
