You are wrong, unless there is a new rule I don't know about, the Leafs couldnt say trade a second rounder for Stastny and have Colorodo pick up 3 million of his salery and have that 3 Million count towards their cap hit. Burke has been lobbying for this for years and it has not - as far as I know - come to fruition.

and that $500K retained is the only reason they traded Bernier to TO instead of Philly for a better player in Matt Read.

I liked Komarov, would have been fine if he stayed, but he doesn't leave massive hole in the lineup.

Grabbo is a great player unfortunatley people have the mentality that if you don't score you suck. Grabbo took the "demotion" to the third line and played his ass off scoring rarely but playing good D.

Do you want to pay 5 mil to a guy who plays on the third line? Maybe not.

Do you want to pay 5 mil to a guy who is impervious to pain and can play up and down the lineup, play the PP, kill penalties etc? I would. Keep him. The opinions of people who think we should buy him out are not worth listening to because this is what those people say:

2)Phaneuf sucks
3) The Bernier trade was dumb

Here is whats wrong with the internet/ society:

I make a point. Instead of mentioning that I may be incorrect and pointing me to proof of this, I get some sarcastic nine year old answer from some internet douche bag.

I then say "Ok, well its possible I'm wrong, I'll look it up" which is basically the correct protocol for any kind of situation like this.

I get laughed at with an emoticon (which I think using them makes you look like a loser) and then I get a response so rude that in real life it would be met with a punch to the face.

And again, all I did was admit I could be mistaken and promise to look it up.
