It is what it is. Athough it may not look like an ideal contract right now, circumstances dictated that particular deal, capped by an off year for him. Did he have health issues - seems so. I'm not opposed to seeing what Grabo brings this year so I think buying him out at this point may be a little premature.

Dion's contract is awful but the Leafs can afford it and fit him in.

I doubt it will be that much, I wouldn't be shocked if he got the same contract. I think ideally tho most would want him around 5.5-6 tho.
