ya Bozak at 3-3.5M INSTEAD of Grabo at 5.5M is good.

I just don't see the point of the 2 small C's again.

sign a Big 34C (Gordon), McClement or Colborne play other C.

I'm a Grabo fan, and I don't see them buying him out. Not after a bad half year where he had role change and serious medical issues

No he stays. Bozaks gone, i liked him though. Grabs and Kadri should spend all summer working on draws.

Yes! That reminds me of watching Belfour train at double rink with Trretiak way back when he was with Dallas. Tretiaks hands are frickin bear claws.

was just thinking he's the guy who will replace Frattin, but I just assume he needs a bit more time.

@DarrenDreger: Ray Emery will have options. Among them, the Philadelphia Flyers. Nabokov will likely be of some interest to the Flyers as well.

I know how you feel with Grabo. I really want to like the guy, but I just can't see a place for him.

He's got hustle, but his type of game relies on him always performing at peak level. If he's off his game, the whole line suffers. He really can't modify his game to allow his line to succeed when he is struggling.

Yeah, I know he was asked to play more defensively under Carlyle, but he didn't exactly do a great job of that, either.

He's probably got a higher upside than Bozak, but Bozak doesn't need to be filling the net to be effective. If Grabo isn't giving you 25 goals, he doesn't have a place.

I rather more speed, bump and grind with some offence on the fourth but it's just my preference.

Nabokov has been my first choice since 2007...
