Absolutely... Im not expecting to get it. A little virtual GM going on here. If they do manage to get a 1st round pick, I doubt its in the top 10.

However, it might seem like a lot, but if I was in Sather's shoes... Id offer up quite a bit to get that #5 because there are 6 guys there that look like franchise players.

The starting point for my offer to Carolina would be MDZ and the 1st round pick next year.

I have terrible vision, I cant see anything without glasses, so trust me, I know exactly what its like.

We're hoping Dylan McIlrath makes the squad on D this coming year. He was our 1st rd pk in 2010, its time. He's a bruiser & we need that.

Keep in mind, I am rooting for a triumphant Staal return but I say that to say this: I don't think he will be nearly as effective as he was. Damaged vision, for a top notch athlete, has to be worse to overcome than any other non-paralysis damage.

Keep in mind, I am rooting for a triumphant Staal return but I say that to say this: I don't think he will be nearly as effective as he was. Damaged vision, for a top notch athlete, has to be worse to overcome than any other non-paralysis damage.

If move one of your defensemen in a deal for a forward, maybe the Rangers will be in the market for a low cost 4-5-6 defensemen. Otherwise, I see no need for that type of player.
