Staal for Byfuglian? Trade the bad eye for the weight problem. - Pete V
That's another huge question he club has, will Staal be able to adjust to the blurriness in his eye? I doubt it's going to get much better than it is now.
Don't want Zidlicky or Whitney, and they should not coast anywhere near Yandle would. |

please tell me thats a joke - TheRussian
Here is what I will say on that. I think Brassard over the course of the next five years is going to be a better player than Joe Thornton, simply because Joe is getting long in the tooth. Over the next two years, I want Thornton, however. Thornton is an older player that is going to be a UFA next summer. Not sure if the return is going to be what it would have been if they traded him two years ago. |

Canucks have been granted permission to talk to NYR assistant coach Mike Sullivan. Expected to join Tortorella's staff as in TB, NY.

Done. I think you would be better off taking Brassard and St. Croix. |

i didnt mean that to sound disrespectful, i meant in the way of why would you trade a soon to be better player over joe and a promising prospect for an aging player?if i were NYR and thats what the sharks wanted i would hang up |

Then sign Bickell, and put him on the left side with Thornton and Nash. Hide the women and children. |

I think they would... plus... if they dont move a center... they would have quite the log jam with Lindberg and St. Croix. |

And Miller ... Seems like you project Miller to play the wing at the NHL level.

But a trade for Thornton would make it Thornton, Stepan, Brassard down the middle... Lindberg is a 3C with the potential to be a 2C... St. Croix is a smallish center with really nice offensive skills. |

I'm fine with going Thornton, Stepan, and Brassard down the middle this year, and sorting the rest out later.

Yeah, frank him. He's not the answer, and I don't want to part with Brassard. |
