whoever signs first, if they sign the same day, get one in white, one in blue |

still saying we should get wheeler, very big and skilled and fast too
and then just resign clowe we would become very big and hard to play against
kreider-stepan-wheeler
nash-brassard-cally
clowe-miller-hags
kyle jean-boyle-dorsett
Mcd-girardi
moore-staal
mcilrath-stralman
hank
biron
that team would be very good, size grit and we're deep.
it creates a lot of options you could also switch nash to the right and put clowe on the other wing with brassard and a third line of hags-miller-cally but i think callahan is top six material. |

I totally disagree with your Pyatt assessment. That was a different team, different age. He can't do that here just cause he has that coach. It is the equivalent of the nucks saying get Brian Boyle! He put up 20 goals with torts and can be had for cheap!
Pyatt got to 20 goals once. Its fools gold. Pyatt can't skate, he's big that's about all he has. Gotta look at how the player is and not rely on the past. Otherwise brad Richards would be still here, and we'd be trying to sign every buyout candidate because they once were doing something great. |

And I wouldn't resign clowe. We are in no position to piss away a 2nd round draft pick. Sign someone else that's younger cheaper and doesn't cost us a pick. This is especially true with how successful this regime as been at drafting in the 2nd round. (Sauer, dubi, Stepan, etc) |

Once again a 4th line scores a huge goal, after the talented guys tied it up. Both teams featured four strong lines and mobile defense, with good goaltending, although Crawford was outstanding in the 1st period.
I think we are going to see a trade for the Rangers prior to the draft, not so sure at the draft, that's not Slats style. If not, then soon after the draft. |

Think we could see a trade to try and recoup a 2nd round pick or package a few thirds to move up in the draft. Dorsett may be huge for the Rangers as a fourth line player, if he can limit the stupid penalties. |

I think Dorsett is a piece to the puzzle, an important piece as we have witnessed, players who can bang and contribute the odd goal are very important to the overall quest. |

I think that as well. I know people do not want to lose a 2nd to resign Clowe but as long as he is healthy I think you need to bring him back. I would like to see Clowe resigned and then one similar style player added. Rangers need more size and toughness for sure. It sucks losing a 2nd rounder for resigning him however the Rangers have some good prospects and there is not going to be a spot for all of them. Deal one of them and a pick or something to a team to recoup the 2 nd rounder we would lose to resign Clowe.

Miller plays RW now... Lindberg is who I want to see at C on the 3rd line. |

yeah i get you but clowe is really good when he's healthy and he will be ok i think, would also be ok with stalberg or bickell but i personally like clowe more |

Im ok with losing the 2nd for one reason...
Our farm is getting a little full right now, not that its a bad thing, but our main roster is also full so theres a bit of gridlock in the call ups.
So if hes healthy, Im all for it.
_______________
As far as Wheeler goes, his price will probably be pretty high... I want Bogosian from that team too. Id be willing to start a package of DZ, Hagelin, St. Croix and maybe another prospect or a 3rd round pick for Bogosian and Wheeler
Nash, Stepan, MZA
Kreider, Brassard, Wheeler
Clowe, Lindberg, Callahan
Pyatt, Boyle, Dorsett
Girardi, McDonagh
Bogosian, Staal
Stralman, Moore |

Nope...
You can start Lindberg at C, and Miller at RW
From what Ive read, Lindberg is a true C with really good faceoff skills. |

Except it doesnt look like Zucc is going anywhere right now... and I think teams will ask for Hagelin first. However, I dont think we need Bogosian, but I do think he would improve the offense from the blue line with his shot. |

I do believe something will happen... I wonder which name Sather will pick out of his little black book.
I want to know what kind of players theyre targeting... I hope the fans and management are on the same page. |

I dont expect a huge trade, probably something medium sized with a decent player to make up for the Cally and Hags losses to start the year. |
