Kulikov you can have. And Howden played really well last season. He will get better, needs to get smarter.

i wouldn't go that far and praise us that much. you wouldn't give gagner+7th+marincin or 2nd round pick for bjudstad and 2nd overall? i'd consider it.

There is not team in the world with seven untouchables. Not even teams that just won a championship. Ever. Anyone on the Oilers could be traded , no, make that some of the "untouchables" will have to be traded because its impossible to build a team entirely through the draft.


THe idea that you would be unhappy with a phaneuf for gagner trade is ridiculous. The Leafs would never do that, but the Oilers definatley would. They won't trade Phanuef anyways.

i think that trade can happen if weiss resigns in florida. florida will have gagner too. goc, matthias, and shore as bottom 6 centres and hamill developing. 7th overall pick...never know...lindhom or monahan is still there. just depends who does edm want to draft.

We just don't need another small young forward. If Monahan is taken then I think that the best thing to do would be to draft Nurse.

Ehrhoff is better now, and signed to a long cap-friendly deal...
Myers certainly has more upside, but Ehrhoff was really good for us last season

I'd be psyched if we could do some version of a trade that got us 5 & 7, and ehrhoff & Myers were the centerpieces going back

I'm also hoping Miller to either the Isles or Philly for their 1sts
And then Vanek to whoever (most teams would be interested) for the best offer of a 1st++

We just need to stockpile as much young talent from this draft as possible
