Yes, he does. You're completely ignoring the saves he shouldn't have made in game 1. Blues should have won by 2 or 3 against an average goalie. Not to mention game 3. Or game 5. Or game 6.

He's a good goalie, borderline great, but look at his SCF shots against totals from last season. He had 3 games under 20 shots and only 1 over 30. Facing 6-8 shots a period is a cakewalk

Ruff always thought he was driving a fully restored hot rod... he never realized that when soup, fino, drury, briefe, etc left that his hot rod turned into a car with 60k miles on it in need of a tune up..

As much as I wish we would have hired an outside the franchise coach... I am even more happy weddidn't hire a recycled coach like torts or av.. rolston can coach youth.. that is what we need.

He beat Miller because we had 2 of 6 healthy defensemen. I say that because Carolina like Buffalo has had average rosters since and have been both mediocre. Did you see Carolina collapse when Ward when out?
