Agreed. NYI deserved to win that series, not Pitt. NY actually battled and fought for wins.
Miller would put them in a whole new category. - LetsGoBuffalo75
It really does seem like a perfect fit
And I think Miller would sign an extension there too
I'd think that adding Miller would also get the attn of free agents like Clarkson, and vets looking for a shot at a cup like Iginla & Briere, etc too
We'd get back #15 + a couple decent prospects, or maybe 1 good prospect id think |

If only Darcy was as bold as you... - LetsGoBuffalo75
Ya, but I know not all that could happen realistically
This is the deepest draft in 10years though
And we are in the perfect situation to build some quality depth
And since the next two years are gonna be rough,
There's a pretty good chance we draft top3 each year and get a couple superstars
All this seems to be perfect timing to be bold
I know I went overboard with it,
But there's no reason we shouldn't get four 1st round picks in this draft |

"Regier would be able to ask for, and receive, a top six forward, a top four D, and a first round draft choice for Miller."
you are obviously
1. the stupidest person ever to walk upon the face of the earth or
2. a Sabres home-boy with no sense of value or
3. have sniffed so much glue that you have liquifed what once was a brain or
4. All of the above
im wagering on # 4
If Darcy gets that he'd be the new messiah walking on water
F.Y.I. Milbury doesnt run a team any longer
and as it is The lSLES GM hates Miller since their playing days
so I seriously doubt he'd trade for him |

NYI would jump up to the 3rd best team in the east w Miller, maybe 2nd best...
They did give the pens a run for their $$$, and Pitt will be losing a couple guys
#15, plus a couple of good prospects gets it done |

GARTH is also retarded - joeyp
but Snow has already said he has no interest in Miller
they have a long standing dislike for each other stemming from a game before Snow retired |

Your first mistake was reading. No Sabres fan thinks we will get that much for Miller. |

it makes me chuckle that Fidel Castro ended up running what remained of Atlantis. |

I think we would get around what LA got for Bernier. A top-9 forward, a prospect, and a 2nd. If Miller had more term on his deal or some kind of re-sign and trade was worked out prior then I think he would be worth more. |

That's Milburry that you're thinking of. Garth isn't retarted. He started a rebuild so that's the excuse for losing, and he has no money to work with. The team made the playoffs last year with almost all the players he drafted. So, I wouldn't call him a retard. |

anybody who takes miller are probably not going to be too willing to give up a current roster player. They are getting him to help now and moving a decent roster player sets you back a bit. |

Yeah. I don't know about Miller. I feel that there are better options out there. I wouldn't mind trading our first round pick, but I'm not sure if Miller is the answer. Why do you guys want to get rid of him so badly? |
