Gardiner's agent petitioning the old boys club at MLSE was not appreciated,even though this wonderfully talented player threw a totally baffling new look at the Bruins who up to that point in the series were giving the Leafs a clinic on playoff hockey.

The Leafs are in for a severe shock if they trade Gardiner, for Don Cherry to mention that this kid reminds him of Bobby Orr, well, take note, Don Cherry has NEVER said that about anyone, Coffey, Niedemeyer, Housley etc...

The Leafs made a great trade bringing in Bernier, even though silly Leaf fans, who wear Leaf underwear are puzzled about what about Reimer??

The same Leaf fans who though the soon to be ECHL Schenn was a number one shutdown defencemen.

The same Leafs fans who watched Reimer look like a Junior B goalie every time the team went into a shutout.

In the case of Schenn, the poor kid couldn't win a fight, couldn't stick handle well enough to run a power play in a house league, and was barely mobile is what is most frustrating about a lot of myopic Leaf fans. By the way, I am a big Leaf fan, but one that sees the good and the bad.
