Please tell me you are not serious.

I agree with your assessment of RNH, TODAY...

But he's still a kid, and I think he had should issues.

I think Nonis would sh1t himself with glee if that trade were offered up.

Yeah that is a real mess they have there.

I just see more available goalies than teams in need.

i get it, you see your own players value higher than that of other fanbases, weird. you're dismissing gardiners rookie season as irrelevant in the same context, but nuge's is the focal point of any assessment, when he scored 4 goals in 40 games last year. brilliant.

also, calling someone ignorant, while completely overlooking how freaking wrong you were in assessing his take on the gardiner / nuge part, is irony in it's finest. a panty rant about nuge as a player should help deviate from that perfectly.

the way you've been verbally poopting all over your keyboard, and attacking anyone with an opinion different than that of nuge and gagner being modern day versions of zeus and poseidon, i wouldn't say the site is at any loss losing you, your oil tinted glasses, and big (frank)ing mouth.

you make oil fans look bad

LOL - you only just noticed!

It doesn't help when you guys don't have a ref to deal with the poop show that inevitably happens a few times per week...

Cloutier is also the largest troll poster on this site.

He posts solely with the purpose of trolling the Leafs fan base.

It works, he gets hits.

... but it is generally the reason for the sh1t show.

Too bad, overall the Oilers fan base is one of the better ones here.

no doubt.

i think nonis would pull the trigger on getting nuge for alot more than gardiner. he'd probably snap call a reimer, gardiner, #21 overall combo for nuge.

Not sure if you read all his posts...but the guy is a straight up idiot.
He posts complete lies to get other Oiler fans revved up. I proved it in a thread a couple days ago.

His actual Hockey IQ is incredibly low. He just has no clue what is going on and does other Oiler fans a disservice, seeing how people typically lump a fan base into one basket. Leaf fans would know!!

Like I said in defence of another poster...we have worse...

Barry was worse, and Esplen is close.

But I agree, I live in Edmonton and have a great time talking hockey/smack with the Oil fans here

Luckily my wife is awesome, plus an engineer, so life is pretty good

She did turn 30 yesterday though, so I have almost 5 months to mock her before I fall afoul of the same fate

- lumlums

You married a broad who drives a train??? That is wicked cool sir.
30 eh. I can't even remember that far back.

Sure, there always will be.
However, available QUALITY goalies, well that's a different story.

Nah..Nuge is okay. A wee bit confrontational, but then some people have a low bullsh!t tolerance for trolls (or perceived trolls).
- Jeropotato

Ya but he is actually kind of nuts. Like no one actually said RNH=gardiner. they were using it as an example of how bad the first trade proposal was. Its not the first time its happened though. He twists what ppl say to make it sound crazy, then explodes.

This whole thing is ridiculous. Gagner probably did want out a couple years ago. He was playing wing on the third and fourth line at times. Why would he want out now? He lives with two teammates (which when you make their kind of money, this is by choice). He is set to start the season as the number 1 center. Worst case scenario RNH bumps him and he plays with two other decent players.

They may be off on the amount but qualify him, let it go to arbitration, sign him for two years and extend him next summer if you want. We are not going to get a top 6 back and we don't have any centers to replace him. Even if Hall moves we are still short and a lot worse.

There are way better teams to trade him to than Toronto. They look way too much like us to be of any benefit. Trade him to a team desperate for a center. Florida, NYR, PHO, NJ or my personal favorite, St. Louis.

The Blues have players I would like and rumor is they want a center. I never checked that but I read it on their boards (too lazy to look up their team). They have all sorts of pieces to fit our needs. They have 3 goalies, a bunch of d and a big winger that they like some days and don't like others (Stewart). I would be on the phone with them if Gagner was going to be traded. Which I don't think he is. Not yet. Trade deadline maybe.
