Like I said. You usually invest fewer than 5 words on Tards. "(frank) That" or "Your a (frank)ing tool" usually do the trick.

and I'm not knocking Gagner... but he doesn't solve the problem Leafs have, he compounds it.

and Kadri was on pace for 75pts, playing less minutes

also playing soft minutes and with a 17% shooting percentage

Thts why try to play him in a scoring role next season to see if he can still contribute

Not for Gags though. But I would go for Kulemin for a 2nd.
- Jeropotato

yea I said no trade here with gags or gardiner. Kulemin'd probably garner more than a 2nd

No problem Punchy. We're gonna stick with Dubey and probly try for a good back up, but I don't think we will pay as much as the Leafs did.

Pretty much fair value, but no way we do that... the Leafs have so few people who can engage like Kulemin whilst also knowing the correct end of the stick from the other, so he's pretty invaluable to us right now...

Once again Clouts, Gardiner is not going anywhere...Unless you send back RNH which is impossible.

Everyone knows Gardiner's upside, and he went only be dealt for an actual #1 center by Toronto. He can change a game...You don't trade those away. Especially for a overrated Gagner or broken glass Hemsky.

Toronto is starting a good core around the same age...Kadri, Gardiner, and Bernier. And they have some great role talent and fill in talent. The only thing they are missing is a Selke like center in the top-six.

- LeafsNation91

oh...that's a very saddening post. This guy must be the smartest one in the leafs thread

"Gardiner? Nope. Only if RNH comes the other way. Gardiner's basically a 1st overall pick!"

Oh,I know, I'm not trying to undervalue him. The Leafs are like the Oilers in so many ways. Not enough tradeable assets, and can ill afford to lose roster players without another in return.

Or at least enough that he has some trade value, as opposed to negative trade value now.

idk. That's kind of like saying EDM could sign ference in free agency and the difference between gardiner and ference isn't gagner.

There's no deal to be made here with gardiner and gagner. Kulemin or mcclement'd be welcomed though

- TheNugeIsHuge

No...it's not like saying that at all!
Bozak is much closer in value to Gagner then Ference is to Gardiner.

I don't believe anyone won that trade between Leaf and kings,I think it will take couple seasons before any of those two teams can say They were the clear winner IMO.

Overall he played the 10th easiest competition among TO forwards. Kulemin played all the toughs. Even in the playoffs Kadri played the 2nd easiest minutes to Ryan Hamilton.

Eberle had the same thing last year. Soft minutes, high SH%. It doesn't last my friend

Sure, hopefully they do...
The point is that his negative value is directly tied to his salary.

I said kind of.

Also Ference is a top 4 D man on a cup contender. They're probably near equally as good at the moment.

Maybe. Doesn't really matter as all I'm saying is that we wont be spending anywhere near that on a back up for Dubey.

THAT's a hell of a lot closer than Gardiner for RNH? Reaaaally? Just when I thought the leaf fans on this thread couldn't get any dumber.

Please leafs fans. Return to your thread. We will not even mention Gardiner here ever again. He's worth more than Mackinnon at the moment.
