I think they'll try to trade him and eat 1/2 salary. My guess is no team will bite and they'll end up using a compliance buy out on him. Lots of variables still.

I don't believe Nonis needs to waste a compliance buyout on him... its a single year remaining at 4.5M CAP hit. Not sure about the math but roughly that would be 2.2M/year for two years.
