Richards. Briere I don't think has enough in the tank and would just be a complimentary addition. Richards is a dramatic improvement.

Stupid acquisition. Bernier is a great goalie, but this is ZERO upgrade from Reimer. Funny how Bernier is all of a sudden a legitimate starting goalie as soon as he comes to the Leafs. He's never played more than 25 games in the league. Leafs screw with another goalie in Reimer. He was the only reason they made any noise this year...

It's entertaining to see people try to troll this trade, it's a difficult one to troll

btw way kudos to Burke for acquiring Scrivens via college free agency. Converting that, a 2nd and Frattin into a #11 pick goalie ain't bad. I like Frattin and Scrivens too though, this could indeed be a solid deal for both teams, but the Leafs potentially have the best player. Good work by Burke/Nonis
