That was more or less my thinking.

I'm assuming they both turn out to be very solid goaltenders in a couple years. At which point we trade and get more than the Frattin, 2nd and Scrivens we gave up

What are the guesses for the new bernier deal?? reimer has one more year at 1.8mil and we retained 500K next year in the deal. I don't think that bernier signs for less than reimer, but I don't know if it's warranted.

Not sold on the Bernier trade just yet.
Mainly due to the fact that teams are wanting bigger stronger forwards to play in the "grill" against a bigger stronger defence.Therefore , having a goalie under 6'

Because there's no sense in keeping two goalies who can play the position interchangably and who will carry a lower combined cap hit than many individual goalies in the league...
