I'll miss Frattin, but this trade makes sense. Potentially having 2 legitimate starting goaltenders is a good thing. I think Nonis would have learned how NOT to handle that situation from our friends out in Vancouver. And we didn't lose our 1st round pick.

thanks for getting us to the playoffs for the first time in a very long time. As a thank you we're going to bring in an unproven goalie of the future who will demand a salary of 4M per year to be on par with Rask/Schneider deals. Compared to your 1.8M we think it's a great deal. I'd tell you in person, but this Skype thing is way easier.

Obviously you didn't watch him play very much. He plays a great style of hockey and would go on these mini bursts of being dominant/point-a-game pace.

Not saying he's a stud by any means, but he's a good fit for any gritty team.

So glad we acquired him for what we gave up!!! We're going to be set in net for years to come between Reimer and Bernier. Awesome move.
