Good kid, works hard, always willing to engage physically (despite not being a really big guy). Probably tops out at 2nd liner, but has decent hands and an accurate, heavy wrister

The second rounder was not necessary for a goalie no more proven then Riemer. That said I do like Bernier. I just don't want a goalie contraversy after every loss. I prefer a clear number one and a back up. Might have to think of trading Riemer before we turn into Vancouver.

That controversy may happen for a season or two, but 1 will emerge as go to guy.

Reimer is a rebound machine.

Ben Scrivens, will not be missed by this guy. ahl guy at best. Matt Frattin will be missed. The second rounder could be valuable but you have to give to get.

yes, supposed to be as good or better than this year's draft overall. the top 5 this year are probably better but it's deeper according to the experts.

I think Nonis is going for the idea of having two very good young guys who are still 5 years away from their prime... I can't fault him here, though I would have preferred to send someone other than Frattin...
