A Bernier and Reimer tandem is way sexier then Reimer and Scrivens.
- optimus-reim

I agree. Nice deal for both teams. Bernie has to be the starter though. Since he will fetch between 3.5-4 mill as a RFA

Unless they are shipping out Reimer, Bernier has to earn his starts; he's not getting gifted anything.

Reimer is a rebound machine.

At first I saw the deal and was like "damn", then I saw how much they gave up for him....

I think that it will work out to be real good in the future for us. Would have preferred either of the two guys, but still, I think we now have the best young tandem in the league

Scrivens is their new backup, Frattin fits in nicely with the top-nine and the second rounder is in either 14/15 so, I'm very happy. Didn't sell the farm

New goalie tandem will definitely push each other to compete. With luck our goalie prospects in the A will turn into assets that we can use to turn into forwards down the road (and eventually backstop the Stanley cup finalists )

Not sure how I feel about this.

Frattin has shown flashes of brilliance.
Bernier, from what I've seen (which isn't much) is better than Scrivens.
2nd Round Pick is just the cost of doing business

We slot someone into 3rd line wing, roll into the season with Bernier+Reimer combo and we're out of the Luongo talks for good! Wait, maybe this is a good deal...

Interesting deal....

Not sure how I feel about it right away. I love how Frattin plays, i've always been a fan of his and really do think he has more to offer than what he's shown. Bernier is an upgrade over Scrivens, but what happens to Reimer now? After a nice playoffs for him where he looked solid for the most part, he's now looking over his shoulder once again. I don't really want to see a goalie controversy in Toronto, however when you can strengthen a position like Goaltending it's always a good things, especially when you're not REALLY sure if your #1 is truly a #1.

I laugh at what the kings fans here thought they'd get for Bernier.

A plug, backup goalie and a 2nd...wow, great return for your apparent stud goalie in the making.

I might've used that trade bait (Frattin, Scrivens, 2nd) to upgrade the defense rather than going after a goalie.

We now have 2 legit tenders that have a chance to be the starter for this club for years to come. better then just 1....I like it.

Frattin is tough to see go but Nonis obviously has plans to replace him.

I have a feeling we wont miss him to much...

Bernier look better than Quick this season but Quick look awesome in the playoff. Bernier > 2nd, Scriven and Frattin... Unless they prove me wrong next season.

Somewhere in Toronto, Clarke MacArthur will be silently fist pumping, as Frattin going means he's more likely to get re-upped (IMO)

let me tell you something...to even compare scrivens and bernier is unpleasing.

Jonathen was drafted 11th overall for a reason.
