If I'm Lu I am hoping for a buyout. Chaaaching$$$. Not mention he can choose where he wants to play. - thundachunk
With a NTC he can basically force this to happen. Say no to all trades and Nucks have no choice. Gillis needs to realize he's screwed and move the frank on for the sake of Lu and more importantly for the sake of his team |

Lui for Malone and Lindback
Canucks buy out Malone and he goes back to Tampa at a lesser cap hit. Maybe Tampa throw in a 2nd or 3rd - mstad101
Bolts don't want Malone back at any price. We have younger cheaper options that are ready |

Shake your head. Lou isn't getting anywhere near that type of return.
Teams haven't been lining up to help the Canucks solve their problem and they won't start now.
If that's the type of return Vancouver expects the Lou will retire a Canuck. - Sabata

Lu for Malone, and kucharov/koekkoek. Tampa dumps a bad contract while picking up a bad one but improving their team drastically. Lindback could probably be dumped for a pick - Bieksa#3
But we could just buy out Malone to get rid of the bad contract
NEWSFLASH...The Bolts aren't trading for Lu, and even if they did they wouldn't give up anything close to this for him |

Perhaps not but my offer includes them taking an awful contract on - Bieksa#3
Buyout...familiarize yourself with the term and understand that your offer won't happen. |

Evidence to back that up? He took over a mess, and commenced a rebuild that has seen the Lightning's system go from one of the shallowest in the league to arguably the deepest. He's re-signed and signed key players to affordable deals, attracted free agents out of college, drafted well in all rounds, and brought on one of the league's most respected new coaches. - Michael_Stuart

Funny they talk smack about Yzerman yet there is ALOT more evidence to suggest that Gillis is running Van into a hole |

It's an Eklund rumor, so there is no need to address it, it's irrelevant. |

Radko Gudas (born June 5, 1990), also known as The Champ, is a Czech professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for the Tampa Bay Lightning in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Tampa Bay Lightning in the 3rd round (66th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft. He is most known for his domination of the Western Hockey League during the 2009–10 season in which he broke many records and a few hearts. He rightfully proclaimed to be good at everything.[1]
He spent the 2011–12 season in the American Hockey League with the Norfolk Admirals where his vicious hip checks and legendary beard carried the Admirals to a ridiculous 28-game winning streak and the league championship. |
