Dub is all right, hes no miller, his numbers.are good, but miller would put up .950 sv in the west.
World class goalie, proven talent , stabalize oiler net for at least 4/5 years... Dub is just not a goalie i see leading you guys to playoffs. Average goalie , average skill. Not elite.mediocre

Miller is an elite world class goalie? Tell that to Buffalo's place in the standings and tell that to his SV%. .916, .916, .915? Dubey went .916, .914, .921. You guys are trapped in the past. Miller ain't the same goalie at all. He's not a top 10 goalie in the league, let alone world class.

we don't want miller. we have dubs. this is not what the oilers need.

we'll be looking to add a backup or maybe even someone to push dubs abit. but we'll neither be spending big dollars or big assets to acquire it.

yaks might be a perennial 30-40 goal scorer that likes to play physical. outside of hall he's probably the most dynamic player on our team. I don't think we move him

well I said no. but I certainly don't agree that miller is on the decline of his career per se.. he's 32. guy could have 8 stellar years left.
and I also said I don't make a huge deal for a goalie before I see dubs behind a strong defence.
but miller is undoubtedly better.

and ehrhoff would be our best defencemen immediately. even if his style of play and handedness isn't ideal.

I wouldn't trade Yakupov straight up for Miller and Erhoff, let alone adding in Dubby and the 7th overall.

We could use Erhoff but no way at the cost of Yakupov. Ask yourself this, would you trade a 19 year old 1st overall pick for a 31 year old defenseman and a 33 year old Goalie? No slight to Erhoff or Miller, both good players but that trade would seriously set us back in 2 years. Especially since Miller would likely sign elsewhere after 1 year in Edmonton.

If I'm trading Yakupov, it's in a package for a Dman like Weber, Pietrangelo, Doughty, etc.
