nuge battled a bad shoulder all year and struggled in relation to a great rookie campaign.
that said I suppose the jury might still be out on him abit. and if he continues to struggles with injuries, then maybe there's a comparison to be made.

but considering the type of skills we've seen from him and what he projects to be, his ceiling is WAY higher than tim connollys ever was. cmon guys.

I kinda disagree. Connolly like I said had world class talent. One would argue he was one of the better players in the league when healthy. RNH will be great, but his health absolutely has to be a little concerning

Yet again, someone who is seriously biased and shouldn't be taken very seriously (in this case). I know I don't have much room pulling the newbie card, but once you're on this site for a while, you learn what people to take seriously, and who to not take seriously. If you focused on the ideas and suggestions of knowledgeable Buffalo posters like dadeadhead, HonkfortheGoose, cabin, etc; you wouldn't be saying things like "they don't grow them bright down in big buff".

you'll find highlight reels of dubey on youtube too. In EDM where Petry and Smid, who are a 3 and 4 on a good team, are 1 & 2 in EDM. D coverage is non existent. Games like where CBJ outshot EDM 40-14 and EDM won 3-1. Dubey steals games too. But because he's a no name from a small TV market people think he's "Martin Biron"

Also, Edmonton has almost 4 times the population of Buffalo (around 250k to EDMs 900k) and is in Canada. The "small market defense" can't really be used.

Miller is world class. Vezina trophy, he got the US silver in the olympics when Sweden Russia Canada were MUCH more talented then the US, and he got the US to OT vs Canada.

Without miller, we would have first pick. He got us into OT giving us the points we didnt want.

he is above average, not world class, not elite, cant look at 4yrs ago to use it today

world class goalies find ways to get you to the playoffs, at least on a regular basis, not 50% of the time and with exception of last season (the lockout one) its not like he had an awful team in front of him

if he is so world class then you build around him, not trade him as world class goalies dont fall in your lap often

And boo to the Jays lol me and my old man are huge O's fans, my dad grew up a huge o's fan and I've followed suit since I was a lil guy. The AL East is wide open this year a lot of good ball clubs.
