was skimming through and read some Nino comments; this is the Nino Isles Management wanted to see by letting him stay in the minors all year. The season he spent with the Isles was nothing short of embarrassing. He did nothing with the time he was given to warrant more than what he was being given. This is the Nino the club wanted to see, sometimes athletes need a kick in the ass. I expect Nino to play here for along time, he's not dumb.

I'm a 9ers fan, went through the same thing with Davis and Crabtree - look how they turned out....

Everyone is saying this draft may be as deep as the 2003 draft. I was looking at the 03 draft and that was an insane draft. Of course in 2003, the Isles butchered their pick at #15 with Nilsson. Is it ironic they are picking 15th in this deep draft again? Im nervous theyre gonna butcher this pick also. History repeats itself ugghh...btw the rangers also screwed themselves in 03 with their pick hehe

Def NO to Kaberle but where are you hearing Kaberle rumors?
Not a big fan of Gagne, would prefer someone else. If Brock Nelson makes the team as a 3rd C then we need a STAR W for JT

But I've been clamoring for a 2nd C and trade Frans but what do I know..

this years draft looks promising, so Snow should not crap out at 15...
Honestly one thing Snow has been good on is drafting, maybe this year we draft all wingers, then next year all centers followed by all goalies....

No, because the fat jacka$$ is not involved with the pick. Therefore, we will at least pick the player we SHOULD pick with that draft choice, whether he pans out or not.

Snow called about Fleury. WHat would that take? I would say being in the same division, Pitt would want the #1, Nino and Reinhardt. Way too much, but that would be the asking price.

Fleury can't stop a tortoise from going into the net. I don't want DiPietro's little brother, another one who was drafted WAY TOO high, and makes WAY TOO much money.

I think Backstrom is the ticket....otherwise, I'd just keep Nabokov.

After watching Fleury the past few post seasons, why in the world would you want him, let alone trade serious assets for him?

Because the "grass is always greener"...nothing more. We have folks who would be thrilled to see Bozak here instead of Nielsen, not considering that their offensive output is virtually identical...
