If Torts thought the NY ,media was tough...just wait, I am one of the few that liked Torts' bluster however, I get the feeling this is not going to be pretty....

So much for that...

Giordano, although good, is also a left handed shot.

They should called WPG and see if they could swap Bogosian for DZ.

Bogosian in 297 games has 103 points (34 goals)
Del Zotto in 250 games has 110 points (24 goals)

giordano and glencross are probably the only "untouchables" calgary have. if we want to pry them away, we have to be willing to ante up a guy like kreider, stepan, mcdonagh, or callahan. that's how highly the flames think of those 2 guys.

What do you think though... Bogosian for DZ straight up?

value seems fair although i think DZ might warrant like a 3rd or 4th round pick along with bogosian because he's a little more successful at the nhl level so far but not sure why we would do that. seems like trading DZ for a DZ? but idk about whos a right handed shot and who's a left handed shot between them.

i know bogosian has a bomb of a shot from the point though.

They should go for a less attractive guy like salo. Wouldn't cost them much in assets. He only has 1 year left

Bogosian is a right handed shot...

And thats kind of the point... were trading DZ for a right handed DZ with a hard shot.

How much does he have left in the tank though, hes getting up there in age. Hes also never played a full season which is a bit worrisome at this age.

Rangers fans.....our thoughts are with you and our condolences.
What you can expect from Vigneault.......
No thought what so ever on who to put in a shootout situation....he is unable to read who is hot and who is not.
He will reward poor play with extra ice time....see Alex Edler.
He will be out coached in games that really matter.
He cannot make a power play work to save his life. His motto seems to be if it don't work don't change it.
Bon chance Rangers fans.
