when briere and jp got the big arbitration awards, darcy should have been prepared for the chance briere and drury walked that day. He went all in with roy and connolly and had no plan B, no pipeline. when mair is your second line center and no trades are made, the gm has to go IMO

I really think he held on to connolly so long in an attempt to win the peca trade, the trade that pushed one of the greatest goalies ever to play out of town
