I have the same feeling. I think they'll keep their picks, sign maybe 1 FA and it wouldn't surprise me if Vanek and Miller are on the roster in October.

Basiclaly said what we expected, top 3-4 picks are too expensive to acquire. He said he will lookto picks 5-7. Devine said they wont trade down from 8th as expected, said they may trade down to early 20s from 16.
Thats the only noteworthy thing, they said they may look goalie with the second pick. News is he was talking to Washingtons GM yesterdat. Maybe they trade down to 23 and draft Fucale.

I really like Fucale, he won the memorial cup this year. I would love him at 23rd. He started in the QMJHL as a 16 year old. I think hes gunna be a #1 goalie in the NHL.

after watching briere and drury walk for nothing and set the team back 8 years, darcy should either have vanek and miller locked up or traded before opening night this fall
