Actually no, I live right by the river.

Cops showed up ay my door at about 10:30pm last night and said i had to leave. I said no I'm not going anywhere. After almost getting in a fistfight with one cop he realized he wasn't going to be able to make me go and also realized he didn't have time to arrest me.

I told him i live on the 3rd floor and i have a bathing suit so go help an old lady somewhere.

So I woke up to sirens at 6am this morning, good thing to because they cut the power/lights to the building so my alarm clock was off. After taking apart the overhead garage door in my complex (someone is gonna be reeeal pissed) i was able to leave.

Ever single (frank)ing road withing 6 blocks was closed, i poop you not. So after doing some sweet alley driving and finding a way out of downtown i got into work. 2 hr and 20 minutes for a drive that usually takes 15.

Now I can't go home because i could never find my way back the way i had to come.

Here's the best part: I'm playing golf at 1pm.

Interesting story, CPF I guess you did the right thing by staying at home. Why did they want you to leave? Where would they put you and your family? I wish I could see some pics of how bad it was.

I lived in Florida for a while and people complain about how they get hit with hurricanes all the time... The northeast has been hit with 2 more hurricanes than Florida in the last 5 years.
