Obviously there were things he was doing that the staff didn't like. You and I can't watch his every move from the couch. I don't think the staff is hard on him just for the fun of it.
That's ok even though I feel dirty disagreeing with you it happens

Take the bet Dee. Nino IS being moved. The regular clowns on this board give you a lot less credit than you deserve. - 31fan

It was Staple who mentioned during the playoffs that Weight and Thompson were actually unhappy with Grabs game one performance.

Gotcha. Didn't read that. |

I stayed with it for a while. Pissed off some people with it X style. Had my fun, it served its purpose . Now I see why he took such great joy in it |

yep...I've had a few people either mock it or ask me 'why'. I had one guy who responded "XxstopdoingthispoopxX'
Of course then I just started signing it like:

Like scoring goals and being one of only two regular forwards to remain in plus territory for the season? There wasn't much disagreement on this board earlier in the season about the crazy double standard from the coach...continuing to play guys that clearly weren't in game shape and making lazy/bad plays all over the ice while strangely benching/cutting ice time for other players for far less. I find it kind of strange that Cappy gets the benefit of the doubt now and we're wrong to say anything about personnel decisions that seem to come out of left field. |

How about you guys handing over Grabner, Hamonic and a first for Letang...aye? - cranktheradio
The first is too much if Hammer is going the other way too. |

I never said you guys were wrong but none of you have given anything but oh he doesn't like him and that's why he was benched and all I'm saying is maybe those were some of the reasons. The truth is nobody knows why except the coaches and the players. I just get a kick out of the oh he hates him and that's why he doesn't play card. I'm just trying to come up with ideas and thoughts of maybe why his time was cut. Please I'm not a big fan of cappy myself. |

I 100% agree with you on this one. We are all happy about them competing last season but some people( )seem to be a little caught up in it? If it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, it's probably a duck. The issues btn Grabner and Capuano/coaching staff are blaringly obvious and to me ithey are not warranted. The guy was on many nights the best player on the ice and got less ice time and was under utilized to the point to me it was bordering on insulting. I just don't get it. Forget about playing Reasoner in game 1 and assorted other Capuano blunders. Believe me I'm estatic with the season we had and I'm extremely excited about this coming one but let us not stick our heads in the sand and make believe these things aren't happening. Kind of like the Nino situation where some are saying the "rumors" of him wanting out are over blown or "it was just his agent". Obviously there is some truth to it. I think alot of people are giving a little too much "benefit of the doubt"? |

i think most are just separating cappy from upper management...i know i am. i dont love cappy at all and i agree, i hated some of his in-game decisions as well as healthy scratches. |
