Gunnarson is an RFA. Who is replaceable. Kulemin is loved by most (including me) and seen as our best defensive winger and the hope is always there that he will chip in offensively....that said, I do the deal if I'm the Leafs.

What if we could get Bernier for less than we could trade Reimer? I know Reimer is more proven, and he battles hard, but his lack of athleticism scares me. It is not like Bernier has been awful. In fact he saved the Kings early in the season while Quick was struggling. Maybe we can use Reimer to get our #1 centre and trade for Bernier?

I actually think Reimer's one strength is his athleticism, he battles and makes those quick across saves. I see his weaknesses being more about positioning and reflexes, playing the puck makes me nervous as well...

I demand that everyone stop talking about this Bernier to TO sh*t...NOT EVER GONNA HAPPEN...

Something better be pretty insignificant. But i like the idea of getting the 7th. There going to be a top center availiable most likely, and either monahan or lindholm would be good choices at around 7.
Franson i think is over valued after his great season, and if we are going to trade him, now is the time.

We have belov signed also so lets hope he turns out but of course I'd like gardiner or frattin to be an oiler but anyone who mentions hall eberle nuge or yaks or jshultz in that trade is crazy gags is possible if the oil draft a centerman and also pick up a decent third line centre somewhere else but besides that I can't see a deal getting done.

Kinda pisses me off, honestly. Reimer is a number 1 goalie. I'd be okay with getting a vet backup but anything other than that is just a smack in the face to the best goalie we've had in a long time. Guy played his heart out, did pretty well, and now we think we should gamble to do better.

Agreed dude. Goaltending is fine with Reimer. Our off season priorities to asses are: center, adding a tough winger to replace Komo & adding a solid veteran D to take some of the load off Dion.
