The Avs were more than happy to trade him for a second pick, and that was two summers ago. Since then, he's regressed in every way, shape and form.

He was a healthy scratch in 3 of the 7 Leafs playoff games this year. In the games he was in, he averaged 15:25 in ice time.

His regular season numbers are just as bad. Low ice time. Stints in the press box. 2 goals and 9 assists in 32 games.

And he has 3 years left with a cap hit of almost $4 million a year.

I don't make it seem like he's utter crap.

That's what he is.

Sorry, Leafs Nation.

- Atomic Wedgie

Wrong.
He was traded to get a pick, the avs werent making the playoffs and it was a salary dump.
We simply had too many similar Dmen, which is why is was the odd man out....he's not in RC's good books.
He's not utter crap.
He's still a serviceable dman.....he wont be traded back to the Avs...but hes not utter crap....thats just stupid.

it should also be noted that if his pace last year would of been for about 30 points over a full season.. without much premium ice time.

and then i insert the dwg as a block into the existing drawing.?

the issue is that i've already marked up these raster images in the existing drawing, so i'd need to import the new one.. scale it to the size of the raster image and replace it, so as not to have to do all the mark ups again

big weekend series coming up
- senstroll

There's only one game this weekend, and while game 5 in a tied series is very important, it's not series deciding.

i have to agree here

not even for trade value purposes, but there were a lot of times this year when i thought he was overly criticized.

especially during times while he was sitting in the press box and kostka was playing 25 minutes a night.

i thought he helped in getting out of the zone a little bit in the bruins series

That's not correct either.
He played very well in several games with the leafs.
Its just that his mistakes were overly criticized.
But for his first season in the NHL....he played well.

What difference would that make? If we draft a guy like monohan or something either way he would not be playing with the leafs next year and would need development. Unless we had the 1st pick overall and picked mackinnon that changes everything, but we don't and avs are going to draft mackinnon. We need to fill the #1 role regardless and we have kadri as our young 2nd line center and colborne for the 3rd which is decent enough for the 2nd and 3rd so they can continue to grow but they have to be given the chance to grow, not thrown under a bus.

Myth Busters - Bozak eddition

http://theleafsnation.com...lvr.it&utm_medium=twitter

- senstroll

small criticism- Bozak without Kessel leads to more goals per 20 because Bozak without Kessel is usually playing the PK... unless that number is strictly even strength(he only mentions even strength in the production graph, not in the goals for/ goals prevented graph)

I also think faceoffs are being undervalued here.

Actually it is correct, he couldn't handle the nhl speed after several games where his gameplay died out when the nhl players got caught up to speed

well if it pastes it as an entire block you should be able to explode it.

just open up a template that has a model space that is based on 1 to 1 (1 drawing unit equals 1 mm)

paste it, explode it, then use the scale function to match it up

I think we saw how good a coach Carlyle is this year. He took some so/so and some less than so/so defensemen, mixed them with a few good ones and create a very effecetive corps.

In his system being slow wasn't that big a problem if you were disciplined enough to stay in your position. Guys like Fraser, Kostka, Holzer were pretty effective for at least parts of the season.

Lyles, while not slow, didn't always buy into Carlyle's plans and sat because of it. Same with gardner
