Yes, it going to be hard to watch. But every winning team has done it. Pittsburgh, Chicago, LA, Boston all have high drafted players. I hope we pick 1st in 2015 to get Mcdavid, hes compared to be better the Crosby. He was over 1ppg in the OHL last season. He was only allowed to play in the OHL because he was granted exceptional status letting him play early. He was still the #1 pick

I dont think the top picks will be moved out of the top 3, meaning the teams in the top 3 wont move out of the top3. I would bet buffalo acquires either the 4th, 5th, or 7th pick by giving up roster players and second rounders. Carolina and Edmonton need D (Ehrhoff, sekera, pysyk, ruhwedel, mcnabb.) Nashville wants a top line scorer (Thomas Vanek)

You don't trade young players when you're rebuilding unless it's in a package deal for a top pick.

You know who Nashville wants even more than Vanek for 1 year? Barkov for a decade...just saying

You must not watch Bogosian much. He's not very good. I mention Hedman because he was the 2nd overall pick 5 years ago and has yet to be the dominant cant miss defensemen he was touted to be. Not saying he's a bust but it takes years for guys to develope. People act as if trading Myers and drafting his replacement will be easy. Chances are it won't

I think Nurse is the safest pick of any defenseman. He will be a shutdown defenseman. Personally, I think Zadorov could be the best defenseman in the draft.

Ristolainen is the safest pick IMO,
He just doesn't have the offensive upside of some of these other guys
But as for being a solid, gritty, dependable defenseman...
Ristolainen can step in day one and do that for whoever drafts him
