There are few attractive options in free agency this year, plus it's almost impossible to tell what the team will need until draft day when we all see if Vanek and/or Miller are gone.

I think he will be better then Teppo, not in terms of playing that many years, moreso the player he will be during his peak years, but again, I am a big backer of Pysyk.

I wish Darcy would make some moves (Vanek and Miller) to get the max number of draft picks. We need to get as many pieces as we can get for the future.

Exactly. If they are going that route they should have kept Pominville along with Vanek and Miller. It's like going backwards. Just start over with new young players.

TBH Teppo is one of the more under rated players of his generation. He was sort of unique at that time

Not HOF as it's hard to predict he will have the length of career that Teppo had.
Do I believe Pysyk will be an all star caliber player? Absolutely. Now though the all star game for D is more about reputation and how many points you have, so it may be tougher for Pysyk to make it with the style of game he plays, but I do believe in him.
