Why even discuss it. We aren't getting the top overall pick or even the second.

I know, I know....a lot of weird and crazy ideas going on here. All we can do is wait and see what Shero will do.

Too bad his old man couldn't help us out against Boston.

For sure. It would be quite a story if Philip could make it to the big club. I guess none of us is expecting much out of him. We barely mention his name when talking about our D prospects.

If he has the temper like his old man, the edge, he will make it. God knows he has good pedigree

i dont mind them at all. something to discuss is better than nothing to me, even if it is far fetched. as long as there is at least a shred of logic behind it, im game for it

It's always fun to think of how our lineup will look without Letang and what he could bring us in return. Btw, we need to get a little tougher/faster in the wings...watching Bos vs Chi now..wow.. 5-4.

so thats what spreading out the ice, making smart, simple passes, and crashing the net can do on a powerplay? huh.....

Apparently he's more finesse than his father. Maybe Eaton like.. I'd love to bring his father in to teach Bortuzzo how to be "his" kind of player. He has the physical tools. (Will we ever give Bortuzzo a chance to start on our bottom line?)

Eric Tangradi was supposed to give us something close to that.. Available options, probably Malone or Penner? Hard to find big bodies with that particular skill set.

Hard to say I wouldn't be dishing out 3 mil to a guy who has been a healthy scratch during the playoffs at times. He does have skils though and could get close to that.

What does that say?We need Cookie re-signed soon and perhaps look for a trade. on another note:do you guys support the Fleury move 100%? I'm confused. A $5M goalie should be solid for us in the playoffs. I didn't want to wait for a 4th straight playoff series to find out "once again" what we already know.

I still have no idea what to make of fleury nothing in sport has puzzled me more than a Stanley cup winning starting goalie somehow playing awful come playoff time after already winning it.

im unsure of what to do with fleury if the decision was mine to be honest. i really dont think he has much value if they choose to move on. and if they do, can you really depend on vokoun to be the guy going forward? however, if you have a long term solution, im all ears.

hartzell is an option to be molded and mentored by vokun... need a good goalie coach and better defensive help... if not u trade for a goalie whose cap hit is under 4mil and hope he works out with vokun as a backup

theres ot a whole hell of a lot of ones that fit that description though, and then you need to consider the assets needed to acquire them as well

I don't have a long term solution right away but we sure have some options out there that we could give a try. So many decent goalies needing a cha nge. Before I'd support Fleurybut now I even benched him in NHL09 Night fellas. I'm tired here. Later
