Not sure i agree. With some shed salary and some cheaper key pieces signed, i think either could be a great addition. Even at those prices.

I don't know, but this is really the first time someone high up comes out and phones the newspaper to tell them this. Usually it's "we haven't made our decision yet".

Maybe they truly don't want to roll the dice on Jones and want to see what they can get.

Yeah for sure but I wouldn't say one good prospect qualifies as good drafting. One of two scenarios play out this summer either Calgary has a good draft or a bad one. The outcome will dictate the competitiveness of the club for the next decade. If I was a flames fan the last guy I would want calling the shots this summer is Feaster. If reports are true that Shanahan will be eventually taking over the team now is the time, otherwise he's going to have quite the mess to clean up.
