Peckham + Eager for Moen
That could either seriously backfire or work out really well for the Habs - Jaciems
I like Moen, that is a s safe a trade as we could make. Who cares if Peckham and Eager do well in MTL. They are done here. |

Oh ,you know, the usual talk. Hot Topics include Grebeskovs exploded testicle, MA Fleurey to the Oil, Edmonton has a better Defence then Boston (courtesy of BSteinley) and NYI/Edm trade history. |

Yes.And it was a terrible day in Oilers history. I honestly think Lowe expected to win his game of hardball with Smytty and took the best trade he could muster in the limited time he had. Mind you, Nielsson and O'Marra were somewhat decent prospects at the time, but the Oilers literally wiped there asses with the pick by selecting Plante. Some players suck, but he is a whole other level of sucks. - Jeropotato
Plante 15th, Riley Nash 21st. Hindsight is 20/20, but we could have had Ian Cole and Max Pacioretty

Yeah because there is none of that in Calgary........

I agree. The object is to win hockey games, not trades. |

Just let any pens fans know that if they come in selling Fleury by saying our defense is fine but our goaltending sucks, we're not going to take them seriously. The exact opposite is true. |

i dont think he will, or should, write his name next to anything that doesnt start at least with a 7. - stayinthefnnet
Only chance he takes less than 7 is if he takes the home team discout to build a winner in St. Louis |

Moen needs a bigger tough guy on the team for him to be effective which the Habs are lacking and a heavyweight like Peckham/Eager would take alot of pressure off Prust |

This the definition of a troll post. You've clearly come here to add nothing to the conversation, but instead just make fun of oiler fans.

I'd rather overpay a guy like Bickell at a cap hit of 3-4 million than overpay a guy like Clarkson or Clowe at 5-6 million. - Morris
I have actually come to this conclusion. Outside of us going large for a Kane or something in a deal I've realized our best bet is to overpay someone like Bickell. |

Oiler fans had much worse to say about that particular post, however,as it embarrassed us all. |

At the time I thought O'Marra was going to be legit - Vukota
I was outright shocked that Nilsson made the team over O'Marra that soon. O'Marra was billed as that two-way center that MacT loves, Nilsson the complete opposite. |

Of course it was a terrible post, but that's not the point |

Honestly, does he think Boston is in the cup in spite of their defense? That their defense is in the bottom 5 of the league? Because that's what having a worse defensive core than Edmonton implies - Morris
Funny how Jagr said the other day this is the best defensive team he has ever been on. Guess Steinley knows more than one of the best players in the history of the game. |

On a completely different topic, Commonwealth looks great with the new seats installed. I love going to that stadium. I'm not a huge fan of the CFL, but its always a good time going to games there. |

Considering the lack of prospect depth, positional depth or trade pieces,is there anyother choices? |

I get it. But sometimes a post is just so out there it attracts trolls. I would do the same if someone said that Ryan Strome was a better player than Taylor Hall. I couldn't resist. |

Klefbom? I thought it was Streit??
But I guess Streit did break Clouts' heart when he signed in Philly. |
