Lou always says when you have time you use it. Its frustrating as a fan and hear all these rumors with all these other teams and not really anything with the devils. He has until the 5th of july Lou has tons of time and you know for sure he is going to use it. He wouldnt let Elias walk or anyone take a RFA away. Zub is up in the air and Lou will make a decent offer to Clarkson for sure.

As much as we're all sitting here panicking, I'd be VERY surprised if Elias doesn't come back. Remember last year when Marty hit UFA? There was no way he was going anywhere. Our only UFA I think we will lose is Clarkson, and honestly I'm not really that worried about that because he will get OVER PAYED.

actually, if you read what they say, they are saying the Post underestimated the total amount of debt Vanderbeek has tied to the team and the arena.

who cares!! the team isn't financially secure. that's the bottom line. this person's reporting, that person has a rumor.. sure they like to find a story out of nothing to have a story, but this has been a continuing issue. The post isn't the most respectable source, but it's a source, and not the only source apparently.
Maybe I'm spoiled or ungrateful. We just went to the Cup Final.. was 1 horrific .. actually 2 calls, the noncall and the Bernier call.. and the rest of what should've been an even game, away from who knows what~! Then we lose.. and now we're struggling again?? How can we be struggling financially if we just went to a $Final$.. with 2 SEVEN game series, a 5 and a 6~! We brought in so much bank from that yet our backbone isn't stable.
I just want a financially stable team. I want to be able to retain our BEST UFAs and BUILD a team. so frustrating to deal with this.
RE-SIGN ELIAS. Give him 5.. heck give him 6 again!! He's older, but he's still a TOP 6 WINGER, he's still the 2nd best forward on our team!.. 2nd best!!! Sounds like a guy worth keeping! Sounds like a guy worth PAYING. Pay the all-star his money!

All preceded by the devils missing their payment, which never happened. TG reported the debt is down to 40 million. I believe TG over this guy who still believes the Devils missed the payment.
