Ryan is not worth Coburn AND 11th overall pick - or at least he shouldn't be to the Flyers because you then need to replace Coburn while eating an extra $600K AND not developing that studly D-man they would have taken with 11th pick.

Bernier is worth Read and a draft pick and that's pushing it. Their 2nd rounder in addition to Read would be an overpayment. It's a big game of chicken until close to June 30th.

Fresh start for JVR and Ryan went into last off season wanting out. Yeah... I know... They are professionals and wouldn't play unmotivated. So why does every player that signs a huge deal tank the following season.
