If we trade him away (Vanek) I would just prefer picks/prospects over a mediocre player or two. We are rebuilding, lets commit to it. helps getting a top 5 pick for next two years too. maybe well get mcdavid in 2015!

i agree 100% if it was any non cup winning game it gets fixed even if it was in any other period. To clear the ice would have taken an hour.

Was a conversation starter I also brought up Dallas trading up that nobody bit on but Staz got everyone talking. Plus it smore realistic then 99% of trades said on here

I can't decide on if I think that is a decent deal for Anaheim. At 11.. guys like Shinkaruk, Ristolian, Zadarov, and Horvat could be available.

I'd trade Sekera and 16th for Ryan in a heartbeat.. but I would imagine we would have to attach another player or prospect to Sekera outside of our big names of Grigo, Girg, Armia, and Larsson.

it would have to be more than Stastny... such as Stastny and McGinn. or Stastny and a 2nd rounder for Vanek.

McGinn would be really nice 2nd line scoring depth that we don't have.
