Dallas was better. But they were very old, we were a younger fresher team that would have had 1. Fresher legs 2. Hasek - sbroads24
we were the hardest working team in the NHL.. |

oh yeah.. there is nothing you can do about what might have been. I just find it annoying when people say Dallas deserved to win off of that play. |

Yes. But like someone pointed out the other day. I think getting screwed in pittsburgh in 2001 was worse. - Buffalo--Sabres
We did get screwed, however, I don't think we stood a chance against NJ, nor did we against the powerhouse Avalanche. |

Since it's been like 6 months since the last time we dreamed of trading for Bobby Ryan, what do we feel good about dealing for him now that he is supposedly back on the block? |

Heard the Flyers are in the lead to get him. Not surprising. I think we have a lesser chance getting him this time around, due to the fact he grew up near Philly, and the Flyers are in a better position to chase a cup before the Sabres do. I'm not saying the Flyers are in the greatest shape as a team, which they are not, but to a star player, Philly seems to be the more attractive place to play. |

Ennis, Myers, and a first for Ryan... Anaheim will be asking a high price again this time around. |

He has no NTC/NMC... none of that sh!t matters.... He goes wherever their GM gets the best offer from. |

Ryan has no leverage. Philly has cap issues. He's signed for two more seasons. Sabres have just as good a chance as Philly, it's just wether they will push to get him |

He has no clause restricting teams he can be dealt to so closeness to winning a cup doesn't matter. |

He's not an unrestricted free agent, though.
He'll go where they trade him, even if it's to Calgary. |

it probably could... but Darcy turned down trading Getzlaf for Myers... why would we trade Myers for Ryan now?
Myers............ we really shouldn't opne this window for discussion today... we just should not trade Myers... it is wayyyyy too early to give up on a 22 year old with his line of potential. |

Myers, in my opinion, is too risky of an option to not at least consider trading. If he has one more poopty year he is virtually untradeable with his contract. |
